This extremely colourful dropper pendant / charm comprises of a solid 9ct yellow gold mount around a natural (tested), cabochon cut oval boulder opal. The suspension ring is also 9ct gold. The opal appears bluer against the dark background but in reality is more colourful than it appears in the photo on the ruler.
The opal (excluding the gold mount) measures 7mm x 5mm and the charm / pendant weighs 0.5g
As is sometimes the case with jewellery of this age and type there are no hallmarks, but the mount and suspension ring test as solid 9ct yellow gold.
This pendant / charm is in very good condition, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear to the gold. The opal itself is in excellent condition with no chips, damage or wear and with a lovely, glossy surface finish. The top 9ct gold suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
