Decorative Antique Edwardian 9ct Rose Gold, Amethyst and Pearl Pendant
This pretty and decorative antique pendant dates from around 1900 - 1910 and is made of hallmarked 9ct rose gold. The pendant features a central star design and is set with a total of six amethysts and five lustrous seed pearls.
The pendant measures 2.2cms diameter and it weighs 1.6g
The reverse of the pendant is stamped ‘9CT’ for 9ct gold
This pendant is over 100 years old. The pendant is in good condition for its age, showing some signs of age and light repair on close examination. One of the amethysts has been re-set as it has a couple of missing securing claws (now secure). The central amethyst has a very small edge chip and one missing claw (but is secure). All the other amethysts and the seed pearls are in good condition. There are light signs of discolouration in one area on the reverse of the pendant. This pendant is priced to reflect condition but is still a very pretty, wearable, piece with the flaws only really visible under magnification.
