sold out

This pretty antique locket pendant dates from around 1910 and is made of a gold coloured metal (not gold), with a 9ct yellow gold suspension ring. The locket is double sided - it has two glass covers and has a different (original) photo on each side. The photos can easily be removed / replaced by unscrewing the top bale which releases the locket frame. The front of the locket is accented by two clear and one red sparkly paste stones.

The central circular locket part of the pendant measures 2.5cms diameter and the locket weighs 6.1g

There are no hallmarks; there is no precious metal content apart from the top 9ct gold suspension ring which tests as solid 9ct gold.

This antique locket pendant is over 100 years old and is in very good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. The paste stones and glass covers are in good condition. There are no dents to the gold; there is a little superficial wear to the gilding on the suspension bale. The top 9ct gold suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
