This sweet and decorative antique watch key dates from the Victorian era and is gold plated. The watch key is the same design on each side and the top loop moves around independently of the rest of the key to facilitate a winding action. I have no way of testing whether the watch key still works as a winder, but the key part looks to be in good condition so I would assume it is still functional.

This antique watch key is over 120 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. Under magnification it can be seen there is a very light area of wear to the gold plating on one side on the high point of the central ‘disc’, but this does not stand out at all to the naked eye.
