This beautiful and decorative antique locket pendant dates from the Victorian era and is heavily gold plated. The pendant is the same design on each side, with two glazed locket compartments. The decorative top bale turns around independently and the locket compartments open by prising off the inner securing rings. Both sides of the locket are shown in the photos.
The locket measures 2.6cms diameter and it weighs 6.8g
The locket is not hallmarked, but tests as heavily gold plated.
This locket pendant is over 130 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The glass covers are both in very good condition with no damage.
