Edwardian 9ct Gold and Seed Pearl Wishbone Brooch
Sweet antique Edwardian bar brooch made of 9ct yellow gold and set with a central wishbone motif set with graduated seed pearls.
The brooch bar measures approximately 3.7cms length and the brooch weighs 2.0g
The brooch is set with a total of thirteen genuine seed pearls
As is often the case with jewellery of this age and type there are no hallmarks, but the brooch has been professionally tested and has been found to be composed of 9ct yellow gold
This brooch is over 100 years old and is in good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The pearls all have a nice lustre and all appear to be original. The brooch bar turns up a little at one end, but I think it might have been made this way.
