This beautiful antique fob brooch dates from the Edwardian era and is made of hallmarked solid silver. The brooch is in the form of an undulating bow, with a suspended enamelled dog clip. This fob brooch would originally have been designed to have a lady’s pocket watch suspended from the dog clip; the dog clip is fitted to a hook on the reverse of the brooch and can be removed.

The brooch has a maximum width of 3.6cms and it weighs 5.3g

The reverse of the brooch is stamped ‘900’ (a continental grade of silver), along with a maker’s mark

This antique brooch is over 100 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage or enamel loss and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. There is a little tarnish on the reverse of the brooch which could be removed by further polishing.
