Elegant Edwardian 9ct Gold & Purple Paste Pendant on 9ct Chain
This pretty and elegant antique pendant dates from around 1910 - 1930 and is made of hallmarked 9ct gold. The gold pendant and chain are a rich shade of gold - somewhere between rose gold and yellow gold. The pendant is set with a square cut purple paste stone and is set on a hallmarked solid 9ct gold trace link chain.
The pendant measures 4cms height (including the integral bale) and the chain measures 18” length.
The pendant’s bale is stamped ‘9CT’ for 9ct gold. The chain’s clasp is stamped ‘375’ for 9ct gold.
The pendant and chain have a combined weight of 1.2g
This antique pendant is at least 100 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing light signs of age and general wear (the baton section isn’t 100% perfectly straight but this is not significant).
