Elegant Vintage (1980) 9ct Gold, Sapphire and Diamond Stud Earrings
These elegant vintage earrings are made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and date from 1980. Each earring is set with a dark blue sapphire and a sparkly genuine diamond.
Each earring has a height of approximately 8mm (max) and the earrings have a combined weight of 0.9g
Each earring post is stamped with a crown and ‘375’ for 9ct gold. There are also hallmarks showing that the earrings were made in London in 1980. Each butterfly back is stamped ‘375’.
These vintage earrings are 45 years old and are in good condition for their age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. On close inspection it can be seen that there is a small slither chip to the edge of one of the diamonds, but this does not stand out to the naked eye. The earrings have been cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner prior to sale.
