This beautiful antique locket pendant dates from the Edwardian era. The front of the locket has vibrant mulberry colour guilloche enamelling with a gold basket, an enamelled white dove and blue flowers. The edge / frame of the locket has decorative carved scrolling detail and the reverse of the pendant has a glazed locket compartment. The locket edge / frame tests as heavily gold plated / gold cased and the suspension ring is 9ct gold. The glass locket cover / frame can be prised open to allow a photo to be inserted (it then pushes back securely into place).
The locket measures 1.8cms diameter and it weighs 4.4g
