














Good Size Antique Edwardian Era 9ct Rose Gold Paste Set Locket Pendant
This pretty and decorative antique locket pendant dates from the Edwardian era and is made of 9ct rose gold. The front of the locket is set with clear and pinky red paste stones, all arranged in a floral design. The locket opens to reveal two locket compartments which could house photos, a lock of hair etc. The locket is of the 9ct gold ‘back and front’ variety, which means that the front and back panels of the locket are made of 9ct gold and the inner securing rings and frame are made of a gold coloured metal (which improves the locket’s strength and durability).
The locket measures 3cms height (excluding the integral bale and the top suspension ring) x 2.2cms width and it weighs 7.4g
The back of the locket bears a partially worn ‘9CT BKS & FTS’ stamp (for 9ct gold ‘back and front’
This antique locket is in good condition for its age, with no missing paste stones and showing light signs of age and general wear. There are no dents to the front of the locket other than is one small, light, pinprick type dent. The reverse of the locket has a generally lightly uneven finish. Inside the locket there are two cream card backing papers and one half of the locket has an inner securing ring and the original perspex type protective cover. The locket opens easily and closes securely with a click.
