£43.00

This fairly substantial antique spinner pendant or fob dates from the Victorian era and is gold plated. The pendant is set with an oval ‘spinner’ which has a natural bloodstone plaque on one side and a natural carnelian plaque on the other. The gold plating has a lovely, mellow, tone and the spinner spins freely within the mount.

The pendant / fob measures 3.1cms height (including the integral bale but excluding the top suspension ring). The bloodstone and carnelian plaques each measures 2.1cms x 1.7cms

The pendant / fob weighs 6.9g

There are no hallmarks; the pendant / fob is gold plated

This antique spinner is around 140 - 150 years old and is in very good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. The bloodstone and carnelian plaques are both in very good condition with no chips or damage and with a nice, glossy, surface finish. The gold plating shows very light general wear - the wear appears more pronounced in the photos than in reality. The top suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
