This good size vintage Irish brooch / tie pin / lapel pin is made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and dates from 1964. The brooch / pin is set with twelve vibrant pink synthetic rubies. The golf club itself is solid 9ct yellow gold; the pin is made of a gold coloured metal.
The golf club measures 6.5cms length and the brooch weighs 4.5g
The underside of the club is stamped ‘9ct’ and ‘9.375’ for 9ct gold. There are also hallmarks showing that the brooch / pin was made in Dublin in 1964, along with an ‘IRISH’ stamp.
This vintage brooch / pin is 61 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The synthetic rubies are all in very good condition. The brooch / pin is fitted with a secure rollover clasp.
