Good Size Vintage Silver and Shell Cameo Brooch
This good size vintage brooch features a carved shell cameo of a classical lady in profile. The came is mounted in hallmarked silver.
The brooch measures 5.2cms x 4cms and it weighs 12.4g
The reverse of the mount is stamped ‘800’ (a continental grade of silver)
This vintage brooch is in good condition for its age showing light signs of age / general wear. There are a couple of small areas of irregularity in the finish of the silver mount. A loop is attached to the reverse of the brooch so that a safety chain can be fitted, if desired. The rollover catch is in secure working order.
