This beautiful, good size, antique ring is made of fully hallmarked 9ct rose gold and dates from 1919. The ring is set with a natural, cabochon cut moonstone. The moonstone reflects the light differently depending on the angle and the light, displaying varying beautiful, shimmering silvery blue tones.

The moonstone itself measures 1.4cms x 9mm and the ring weighs 2.2g
The inside of the ring shank is stamped ‘9’ and ‘375’ for 9ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that it was made in Birmingham in 1919. The outside of the moonstone mount is also stamped ‘9’ and ‘375’.
This antique ring is 107 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. The moonstone is in lovely condition with no chips or scratches and with a lovely, glossy, surface finish.
