Gorgeous Antique 9ct Gold, Moonstone & Sapphire Pansy Pendant on 9ct Gold Chain
This beautiful antique pendant is made of 9ct yellow gold and is in the form of a pansy. The pendant is set with a total of five cabochon cut moonstones and a central blue sapphire. The moonstones have lovely adularescence, displaying beautiful shimmering blue tones. The pendant is set on a hallmarked 9ct gold Prince of Wales chain which is a wearable 18” in length. The chain is later in date than the pendant.
The pansy pendant measures 1.2cms height (including the integral bale but excluding the top suspension ring). The largest moonstone measures 4mm diameter. The chain measures 18” in length.

The chain’s clasp is stamped ‘375’ for 9ct gold. As is sometimes the case with antique jewellery of this type, the pendant is not hallmarked but has been professionally tested and is made of solid 9ct yellow gold.
