Gorgeous Antique Edwardian Silver and Enamel Double Sided Pansy Charm / Pendant
This beautiful and collectable antique charm or pendant dates from the Edwardian era and is made of silver. The charm is in the form of a realistically styled pansy - the charm undulates beautifully to give an accurate form to the petals etc. The charm is hand enamelled in vibrant shades of purple, blue and yellow and the charm is the same design on both sides (with minor variation as the enamelling has been done by hand). Both sides of the charm are shown in the photos.
The charm measures 1.8cms height (including the bale but excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 2.5g
There are no hallmarks but the charm has been professionally tested and is made of a European grade of silver.
This antique charm / pendant is over 100 years old and is in very good original condition showing just very light signs of age / wear. The enamelling on one side of the pansy is perfect, the other side is in very good condition with just a tiny area of very superficial wear in the yellow petal area (not at all obvious and I am only mentioning it as I like to be thorough). The top silver suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
