This beautiful vintage solitaire ring is made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and dates from 1972. The ring is set with a sparkly, vibrant amethyst in a gorgeous lilac shade. This ring is offered for sale in lovely condition.

The amethyst itself, excluding the gold mount, measures 1cm diameter.
The inside of the ring shank is stamped ‘9’ and ‘375’ for 9ct gold. There are also hallmarks showing that the ring was made in Birmingham in 1972, along with a maker’s mark.
This vintage ring is 54 years old and is in excellent condition for its age, with no damage and showing just the very lightest signs of age / general wear. The amethyst itself is in excellent condition with no chips, scratches or wear and with nice, crisp facets.
