This useful, large, antique bolt ring / charm holder / connector is made of a yellow metal (not gold). The clasp has a spring loaded pull back opening / closing mechanism.

This antique clasp is over 100 years old and is in working order, showing some signs of age / use / general wear. I can get the clasp to pull back to half the length of the thin inner ring section (it’s probably possible to pull it back further but it is stiff beyond this point).
