This pretty and unusual antique pendant dates from the Edwardian era and is made of 9ct gold. The pendant is set with two vibrant pink paste stones and a seed pearl. There is an inner ring which is enamelled in white with tiny black dots. The pendant is made of hallmarked 9ct rose gold and the inner enamelled circle is silver.
The pendant has a total drop of 3.5cms (including the bale) and the central circular section measures 1.9cms diameter.
The reverse of the pendant bears the remains of the original ‘9CT’ and ‘SIL’ stamps (for 9ct gold and silver). The pendant has also been tested and confirmed as 9ct gold and silver.
This antique pendant shows light signs of age and general wear - the outer frame in the circular section is a little irregular in shape in one area. The paste stones show light general wear under magnification (nothing obvious to the naked eye). The enamelling is in very good condition with no losses. It’s possible that there was originally a further pink paste stone in the central area. There is an area of light wear / discolouration on the reverse of the silver section of the pendant in one area. Please see all photos for detail. The price reflects the condition.
