This rare antique opening book locket / charm commemorating the coronation of King George V and Queen Mary is offered for sale in exceptional condition. The souvenir book locket dates from 1911 and has turquoise and red enamelling to the front. Inside there are six photos (one on each ‘page’) of King George V, Queen Mary and the throne. The book has a secure clasp to hold it together and a suspension ring at the top so that it can be hung from a bracelet or neck chain.
There are no hallmarks; there is no gold content, the book is made of a gold coloured metal.
