Rare Antique Hand Carved Mother of Pearl Faith, Hope & Charity Charms with 9ct Gold Fittings
This unusual and appealing set of ‘faith, hope and charity’ charms dates from the Victorian or Edwardian era and comprises of a natural mother of pearl, hand carved, anchor, crucifix and heart. The connecting rings are made of 9ct yellow gold.
The charms have a combined weight of 1.2g and the crucifix measures 1.5cms height.
Three of the four connecting rings bear hallmarks including ‘9’ and ‘375’ for 9ct gold. All rings test as 9ct yellow gold.
This set of antique charms is in good condition condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The charms are made of a natural material and are hand carved and therefore show a little variation in symmetry and finish. The connecting rings are not soldered closed.
