This rare vintage charm is made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and is in the realistically styled form of a driving licence. The charm is articulated / hinged and opens to reveal driving licence ‘paperwork’. The paperwork is as new and is designed to be completed (by hand) with the owner’s details. This rare and collectable charm bears the Georg Jensen hallmark and is offered for sale in very good condition.
The charm measures 1.9cms x 1.3cms (excluding the bale and suspension ring) and it weighs 2.6g
The back of the charm is stamped ‘9’ and ‘375’ for 9ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that it was made in London in 1973. There is also a ‘GJ LD’ stamp for Georg Jensen.
This vintage charm is 53 years old and is in lovely condition for its age, with no dents or damage and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. The paperwork inside is in excellent condition and has not had any details filled in. The top suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
