Rare Vintage (1991) 9ct Gold and Multigem Acrostic 'DESIRE' Ring
This colourful, rare and unusual vintage acrostic ring is made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and dates from 1991. The ring is set with a genuine, sparkly, diamond followed by emerald, (yellow) sapphire, iolite, ruby and another emerald. The initial letters of the gemstone spell out the word ‘DESIRE’.
The ring is a UK size N and a half / between a US size 6.5 - 7
The ring has a maximum height (in the centre) of 3.5mm and it weighs 2.4g
The inside of the ring shank is stamped with a crown and ‘375’ for 9ct gold. There are also hallmarks showing that the ring was made in London in 1991, along with a maker’s mark of ‘DJB’.
This vintage ring is 32 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear.
