Rare Vintage Atomium Souvenir Charm (from the 1958 Brussels Expo)
This rare and collectable vintage souvenir charm dates from the 1950s and is made of hallmarked silver with an enamelled front. The charm is a souvenir charm depicting the Atomium, which was the flagship construction from Expo 58 in Brussels.
The charm measures 1.6cms height (including the bale but excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 1.3g
The reverse of the charm is stamped ‘A800’, which is a continental grade of silver. There is also a maker’s stamp.
This vintage charm is around 60 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. The enamelling is in lovely condition with no damage or losses. There is a small dark spot on the reverse of the charm. The top suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
