Rare Vintage Silver Queen Elizabeth II Book Charm
This unusual vintage silver charm is in the form of a book commemorating the life of Queen Elizabeth II. The front has an applied crown motif with some red enamelling and the ‘book’ opens to reveal a page entitled ‘Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’ with a photo of Queen Elizabeth and her young children on the opposite page. It’s possible that there were originally more photos / pages in the book.
The charm measures 1.5cm x 1.4cms and it weighs 2.9g
The reverse of the charm is stamped ‘SILVER’
This vintage charm shows some signs of age / general wear. There is some enamel loss to the crown. As I mentioned, it’s possible that the book originally contained more pages / photos.
