This stunning, impressive and sizeable antique ring dates from around 1920 - 1930 and is made of hallmarked Sterling silver. The ring is set with a natural boulder opal. The opal has a lovely play of colour over one half / two thirds with flashes of mainly green but also occasional flashes of blue and pink. The other third / half has a more milky tone.
The ring is a UK size S / US size 9
The opal itself measures 1.8cms x 1.3cms and the ring weighs 4.9g
The inside of the ring shank is stamped ‘925’ for Sterling silver
