This impressive and unusual pendant is in the form of a bee and is made of hallmarked gilded Sterling silver with a solid, hallmarked, 14ct gold suspension bale. The bee is set throughout with genuine ‘rose cut’ diamonds (45 in total), a single tanzanite and two red, cabochon cut, spinels. The pendant is suspended from a hallmarked 14ct yellow gold suspension ring. The diamonds have a combined total value of approximately 0.25 carat (a quarter of a carat). The tanzanite also has a weight of approximately 0.25 carat.
The pendant measures 2.1cms height (including the integral bale but excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 2.1g
The reverse of the pendant is stamped ‘925’ for Sterling silver (the pendant has a 14ct gold coating over the silver). The suspension ring is stamped ‘585’ for 14ct gold.
