This stylish antique line bracelet dates from around 1930 - 1940 and is made of solid silver. This well made bracelet comprises of individually connected box link settings, each set with a circular synthetic ruby - there are 28 rubies in total. The bracelet is articulated and has a lovely fluid, serpentine movement. The silver lobster clasp is a later replacement.
The bracelet measures 7.75” length and it weighs 15.9g
The box links have height of 5mm
As is sometimes the case with jewellery of this age and type there are no hallmarks; the bracelet has been professionally tested and is made of solid silver.
This bracelet is around 90 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. The rubies are in good condition: there is very slight variation in shade between the stones and, on close inspection, a couple are a slightly different cut to the others. One ruby has a couple of tiny fleabite sized nicks to the surface but all the others are in very good condition for their age. There appears to be a historic repair to a link between two of the box settings which is visible on the reverse of the bracelet. The sterling silver lobster clasp and end bracelet link are later replacements, the clasp is in secure working order.
