This gorgeous, stylish and fairly substantial antique necklace dates from around 1920 and is made of hallmarked 9ct rose gold. The necklace features two cabochon natural matrix turquoise separated by a curved baton section, with a teardrop shaped natural matrix turquoise suspended from the bottom of a further gold baton. The turquoise and baton sections are indiidually connected and move independently and attractively when the necklace is worn. The turquoise are well matched in colour and are a strong, vibrant shade of turquoise.
The necklace has a length around the neck of just over 18” and it weighs 6.1g
The necklace clasp is stamped ‘9CT’ for 9ct gold. The chain and baton sections have been professionally tested and are all made of solid 9ct rose gold.
This antique necklace is around 100 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The turquoise are all in very good, original condition. The clasp is in secure working order.
