Substantial Vintage Nephrite Jade Carved Panel Pendant
This statement vintage pendant is made of a solid, natural, nephrite jade carved panel. The panel depicts two birds, possibly peacocks, and is fitted with a silver bale.
The jade panel measures 5.7cms x 3cms and it weighs 13.4g
As is often the case with jewellery of this type there are no hallmarks, but the top suspension ring has been tested and is made of solid silver.
This vintage pendant is in good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. There are no chips or damage to the jade; on close inspection it can be seen that some of the outside edges have not been finely polished, but this is just the way the pendant was made.
