This sweet antique stickpin is made of hallmarked 9ct gold and dates from 1900. The heart shaped terminal has applied leaf and flower detail. The front of the heart is rose gold with one of the leaves highlighted in yellow gold.
The stickpin measures 5cms length and the heart shaped terminal measures 8.5mm height
The stickpin weighs 0.7g
The reverse of the pin is stamped with the Chester symbol and a date mark for 1900. There is also a maker’s mark. The pin itself has been positioned over what would have been the 9ct gold purity mark; the stickpin tests as 9ct gold.
