This lovely and unique antique pendant is made of polished moss agate and dates from the Art Deco era. The moss agate shows unique pattern and colour variation and is translucent. It has a lovely, glossy surface finish.
The moss agate itself, excluding the gold fittings, measures 3.8cms height and the pendant weighs 6.8g
The reverse of the bale is stamped ‘9CT’ for 9ct gold
This antique pendant is around 100 years old and is in very good condition for its age, showing just very light signs of age / general wear. Under magnification it can be seen that there is the tiniest, fleabite sized nibble to the tip of the moss agate, but this is not at all obvious to the naked eye and is not at all visible when the pendant is worn as it sits behind the bale. The top suspension ring is fully closed.
