Unusual 18ct Gold Mounted 'Dawn Cowrie' Seashell
This unusual pendant comprises of a genuine ‘Dawn Cowrie’ seashell mounted in hallmarked 18ct yellow gold.
The shell itself (excluding the gold mount) measures 2.5cms height and the pendant weighs 2.2g
The pendant’s bale is stamped ‘750’ for 18ct gold. The mount and bale have also been tested and are made of 18ct yellow gold.
This shell and pendant are in very good condition with no damage and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. The suspension ring is fully closed.
