This unusual and versatile charm or pendant is made of hallmarked 9ct yellow gold. The openwork circular ‘cage’ charm / pendant opens to allow one of six semi precious stones to be added as the centrepiece. The semi precious stones are spherical, not drilled, and are: onyx, amethyst, rose quartz, rock crystal, mother of pearl and (reconstituted) turquoise. The gold cage opens easily and is securely closed by a chain threading through the top bale. The pendant / charm is offered for sale in its original fitted case.
The circular gold cage measures 2.2cms height (including the integral bale) and it weighs 1.5g (excluding any centre stone).
