This unusual vintage pendant is made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold with an intaglio carved onyx plaque depicting Gemini, the twins. The carving has been highlighted in gold. The pendant / charm dates from 1984.
The pendant / charm measures 1cm x 9mm (excluding the bale and suspension ring) and it weighs 0.7g
The side of the gold mount is stamped ‘9’ and ‘375’ for 9ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that the pendant was made in Birmingham in 1984. There is also a maker’s mark.
This vintage pendant is 42 years old and is in good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The top suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
