This lovely, unusual, vintage tie clip is 12K gold filled and is hallmarked. The tie clip is centred with an Essex crystal style circular cabochon which has a mother of pearl back and a reverse hand painted horse’s head under a domed glass top. The tie bar is in the form of a horse’s whip and has attractive fine texture detail.
The tie clip has a length of 6.8cms and it weighs 5.9g
The reverse of the tie pin is stamped ‘1-20 12KGF’ along with a maker’s stamp.
This vintage tie pin is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. The tie slide has the right amount of tension and fits securely onto a tie.
