This vintage bagpipes charm is made of fully hallmarked Sterling silver and dates from 1957.
The charm measures 1.8cms height (excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 1.3g.
The reverse of the charm is stamped with the lion passant (for Sterling silver), along with hallmarks showing that it was made in Birmingham in 1957. There is also a maker’s mark of ‘PPLD’.
This vintage charm is 68 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. The top suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
