Vintage (1962) 9ct Gold 3D Anchor Pendant / Charm
This vintage 3D anchor pendant / charm is made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and dates from 1962. The anchor is the same design on both sides (but one side bears the hallmark).
The anchor measures 1.9cms height (including the fixed bale but excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 0.6g (it’s hollow).
One side of the anchor is stamped ‘9’ and ‘375’ for 9ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that it was made in Birmingham in 1962. There is also a maker’s mark of ‘WHC’.
This vintage pendant / charm is 61 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age and general wear. The suspension ring has been cut (where the anchor was removed from a charm bracelet).
