This vintage charm is made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and dates from 1966. The 3D charm has a glass cover and contains a real one pound note (the type of pound note that was in circulation in 1966). On the side of the charm is stamped: ‘IN EMERGENCY BREAK GLASS’.
The charm measures 1.3cms x 1.2cms x 8mm and it weighs 2.7g
The reverse of the charm is stamped ‘9’ and ‘375’ for 9ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that the charm was made in London in 1966. There is also a maker’s mark.
