This vintage bracelet is made of fully hallmarked sterling silver and dates from 1969. The bracelet comprises of repeated horseshoe links and is secured by threading one of the end horseshoes through the other end horseshoe. When on the wrist the ‘clasp’ is semi concealed as one horseshoe sits flush over another (see last photo).
The bracelet measures 7.75” in length and it weighs 9.9g
The horseshoe links have a maximum width of 11.5mm.
Several of the horseshoe links are stamped with the lion passant for Sterling silver. One of them is also stamped with hallmarks showing that the bracelet was made in Birmingham in 1969, along with a maker’s mark of ‘B&S’.
This vintage bracelet is 57 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear.
