These sparkly and colourful vintage earrings are made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and date from 1971. Each earring is set with a facetted aurora borealis crystal drop, which displays a variety of colours in different lights.
The earrings have a total height / drop (from the top of the ear hook to the base of the crystal) of 3.4cms. The crystals themselves measure 1.2cms height (including the gold mount and bale).
The earrings have a combined weight of 2.7g
Each earring hook is stamped ‘9’ and ‘375’ for 9ct gold. Each crystal mount has date mark for Birmingham 1971, along with a maker’s mark of ‘RP’.
These vintage earrings are 55 years old and are in very good condition for their age, showing just very light signs of age / generarl wear. The earring hooks have been cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner prior to sale.
