This classic and timeless necklace comprises of uniform cultured sea pearls and is set with a fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold clasp. The pearls are a rich, creamy shade and the hallmarks on the clasp indicate that the necklace dates from 1971.
The necklace measures 18” in length. The pearls measure 6mm diameter and the clasp measures 11mm diameter.

The reverse of the clasp is stamped with a crown and ‘375’ for 9ct gold. There are also hallmarks showing that the necklace was made in Birmingham in 1971, along with a maker’s mark of ‘AJ’.
This vintage necklace is 55 years old and is good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The clasp opens easily and closes securely with a click.
