This pretty vintage ring is made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and dates from 1974. The ring is set with a vibrant and sparkly mid purple amethyst.

The ring front (i.e. the amethyst including the gold mount) measures 8.5mm x 6.5mm.
The inside of the ring shank is stamped with a crown and ‘375’ for 9ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that it was made in Birmingham in 1974. There is also a maker’s stamp.
This vintage ring is 52 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The amethyst is in excellent condition with no chips or scratches and with nice, crisp, facets.
