Vintage (1975) 9ct Gold and Opal Stud Earrings
Vintage stud earrings made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold dating from 1975. Each earring front is set with a cabochon natural opal.
The earring posts are fully hallmarked with a crown and ‘375’ for 9ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that the earrings were made in Birmingham in 1975. Each butterfly back is stamped ‘375’ for 9ct gold.
The earring fronts measures approximately 11m height and the opals have a height of approximately 7mm. The earrings have a combined weight of 1.9g.
These earrings are 48 years old and are in very good condition for their age, with no damage and showing just the lightest signs of age / general wear. The opals are in great condition with a lovely, glossy, surface finish.
