Vintage (1978) Sterling Silver Brick Link Bracelet With Heart Padlock Clasp
This fairly substantial vintage bracelet is made of fully hallmarked Sterling silver and dates from 1978. The bracelet is of a brick link design and has a lovely sinuous movement when on the wrist. It’s set with a heart padlock clasp and a safety chain is fitted for added safekeeping.
The bracelet measures 7.5” in length (a standard length) and it weighs 18.8g
The bracelet links have a height of 1.3cms and the heart padlock clasp measures 2.6cms height (including the securing arm, when closed).
The end chain link is stamped with hallmarks showing that the bracelet was made in London in 1978. There is a maker’s mark of ‘SD. One of the bracelet links bears the lion passant stamp (for Sterling silver).
