This pretty vintage ring is made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and dates from 1979. The ring front is set with four colourful, cabochon cut, opals and three dark blue sapphires.
The ring is a UK M and a half / between a US size 6 - 6.5
The ring front has a height of 5mm and the ring weighs 2.2g
The inside of the ring shank is stamped with a crown and ‘375’ for 9ct gold. There are also hallmarks showing that the ring was made in London in 1979.
This ring is 46 years old and is in good condition for its age with no damage and showing light signs of age / general wear to the gold band. The opals are in very good condition with a glossy surface finish. The sapphires are all in good condition and are secure in their settings; under magnification it can be seen that two of the sapphires are set at a very slight angle.
