Vintage (1979) Sterling Silver Heart Locket Pendant
This sweet vintage locket pendant is made of fully hallmarked Sterling silver and dates from 1979. The locket has attractive engraving detail on the front and is plain on the reverse (apart from the hallmark). Inside are two locket compartments; the inside is empty apart from one gold coloured inner securing ring.
The locket measures 1.9cms height (excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 2.7g
The reverse of the locket is stamped ‘STERLING SILVER’ along with hallmarks showing that it was made in Birmingham in 1979 and a maker’s mark of ‘JAM’
This vintage locket is 45 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no dents or damage and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. The locket opens easily and closes securely with a click. The suspension bale is in very good condition and has not been soldered closed.
