This sweet vintage charm or pendant is made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and is in the 3D form of a ballerina. The charm shows lovely styling detail and dates from 1980.
The charm measures 1.7cms height (excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 0.4g
The underside of the charm is stamped ‘9’ and ‘375’ for 9ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that it was made in London in 1980. There is also a maker’s mark of ‘FM’.
This vintage charm is 46 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. The charm is hollow (not solid). The top suspension ring has been cut where the charm was removed from a bracelet. On close inspection it can be seen that there is a light depression in the gold around one of the ballerina’s legs (where it joins the body) but it could be that the charm was just made this way.
