These lovely, timeless, vintage cluster earrings are made of fully hallmarked 9ct white gold and date from 1980. Each earring front is set with a central blue sapphire, surrounded by eight sparkly, genuine, natural diamonds. The earrings are fitted with secure, hallmarked, 9ct white gold butterfly backs.
Each earring front measures 7mm maximum diameter and the earrings have a combined weight of 1.4g
Each earring post is stamped ‘9CT’ and also with a crown and ‘375’ for 9ct gold. There are hallmarks showing that the earrings were made in London in 1980. The butterfly backs are stamped ‘9CT’ for 9ct gold.
These vintage earrings are 45 years old and are in very good condition for their age, with no damage and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. The sapphires and diamonds are all in very good condition with no damage and with nice, crisp facets. The butterfly backs fit securely onto the posts. The earrings have been cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner prior to sale.
